Adventure day 1

So on December 16, 2010 I started the wonderful adventure to Tennessee. Well it all started with my and my amazing wonderful compassionate roommate getting up at 4:30 am to take me to the airport. We had our own mini adventure but made it to the airport! Well i got in the security line and looked over at the departure board and noticed that my flight that was suppose to leave at 7:10 is not leaving at 9:00. well that was bad news because then i would be stuck in Chicago and miss my connecting flight. So i called my parents who gave me the wonderful advice to see if there was anything i could do about that. Called the airlines and they put me on the next flight out to knoxville. Well this now meant that i was not leaving till noon. haha. SO i called my parents and my amazing sweet compassionate mother came and hung out with me till my flight left. I LOVE HER!! Then i made it through security and onto the plane. Slept for the most part , well kind of the guy next to me threw up the entire time but thats was fine. Got to chicago and made it to what i was told was my gate. Well they chaged gates on me 3 more times haha. Then it was time to start boarding when they made an announcement that the plane was not in and would be later than expected. The inital time they said it would take was twenty minutes later. well that ended up not being the case. ha ha . We finally boarded the plane. But of course my life being the adventure it is, one of the door came off its hinges so they had to have maintaince come fix it. That took a bit of time. When the finally finished that they had to defrost the plane because we had been sitting there for so long. Finally made it to knoxville around 9:00pm where my terrific wonderful neighbors were waiting for me. So I am safe and being spoiled like no other. Will keep you posted :)
