SOrry i know i am behind. So day two of my adventure took place on december 17, 2010. TOday i got to meet up with some of my friends from middle/high school. It was soooo great to see the look on their faces when we all got together. It has been such a long time since we have all been together. I love my friends dearly and they are truly some of the best people! THen i had dinner with my wonderful neighbors. Then went to the ward christmas party. Now that was fun. Most of them had no idea i was coming. so of course i love surprises and surprised them all. some of them i have not seen since i have moved. THere is such a wonderful feeling you get from those wonderful people. THey are so humble and just always looking for ways to help others. Well in the middle of that i recieved a phone call from a friend. She had gone mudding and got stuck. haha so i took of to help her out. All i did was cheer her on and hold a flash light. haha. but you know i did what i could. THen i met up with some friends for a long night of board games. I had forgotten how creative my friends are. THey are great people.
Day three, I got up and hung out with my neighbors. THen i went to the park with my best friend. WE played in the sand and did the swings. THen we had a snowball fight. I won of course :) SUch an amazing time. THen we picked up some of our other friends and did some holiday shopping and got some hair cuts. THen came the adventure of trying to find the movie dispicable me. We went to like three different places to find it. But at last we found it and watched it. Such a good movie.
Day four, Today was church and i LOVED it!!! i miss the humility of that ward, the pure spirit that resides there. It is unbelievable how you can forget how much you miss something or someone(s) until you are with them again. I love the Cherokee lake and Bays mountain ward. They are those who will change the world. Have a wonderful meeting on christmas and the savior. Then went to my friend rika's house. She let me crash there for the rest of the day. We watch christmas movies and caught up on each others lives. We also had japanese food. SOOOO good.
Have loved every minute of this weekends adventure. THere is alot i have learned and i know that the lord continues to guide me and teach me. He reminds me of so much. I am truly blessed by the life i have been able to live and the opportunities i have been given. I would not change anything about the live i have lived. I know that my savior and father in heaven love me and continually are watching out for me. THey know what is best and will never lead us astray.
