okay so guess what... its been such a great weekend and morning of course :) I would be such an ungrateful individual if i didn't say just how happy i am and how blessed i have been. Here are just a few of the many things that have taken place that have made my weekend so great. My heart is seriously so full of how blessed i am. ...

• Friday i got sick, but i have such wonderful roommates and a boyfriend who took time from their busy schedule to make sure i was okay. One of my roommates played me a song on the guitar that she wrote for me, my wonderful boyfriend taught me some songs on the guitar to help me feel productive and cool. My other roommates gave me cough drops and just took care of me. 
• Saturday i got the wonderful opportunity to take a test and even though my head was stuffed up and i was feeling so tired, my loving heavenly father helped me remember everything i needed to for the test. I aced that test!
• Saturday night my family came down for a basketball game so i got to see them! i always love when they come to visit. I had a great friend who let me borrow their car so my family would have enough seats. So blessed to have such caring people. 
• Saturday night i got to do something i love doing: acting like a little kid. I made a blanket fort and watched a movie under it. I am so grateful for people who allow me to still be a little kid even though i have "grown up". 
• Sunday i was able to spend 4 hours getting to know girls in my relief society. Each one of them is such an amazing individual. I loved getting that time to just sit and chat with them and get to know them better. I absolutely love my calling!
• Then i went to a friend from elementary school's mission farewell. The spirit was so strong and you could tell of the amazing testimony she has. She is going to change the world and bless the people of the Phillipines. I also got to see another dear friend from elementary school. i have been blessed with so many wonderful people. 
• That night i was able to just hang out with my wonderful roommate and watch movies. We got time to just chat and enjoy one another. She really is such an inspiration to me that i continually learn from daily. 
• Today has just continued the wonderful blessings. Woke up feeling ready to take on the world, found a check for 50 dollars that i was in need of; i got let out of a class early making it able to see people i usually didn't get to before work; i get to work extra hours with amazing coworkers. 

My life is truly so very blessed. Each day i get the wonderful opportunity to see the hand of the Lord in my life. The fact that you are even reading this blog is a blessing to me. I want everyone to know just how i know that God does bless us and he is waiting to bless us. If we take the time to see those tender mercies in our lives we will soon realize just how blessed we are, even when times get hard. Thats my challenge:  recognize that little things in life that are blessings.
