wonderful people in wonderful places!

So my life is wonderful!  School  and life can get kind of stressful ya know? but one thing i know for sure is that the Lord is in the details of my life. He has allowed so many wonderful people to enter into my life and help bless my life. First off, the lord allowed me to become better friends with a terrific fantastic wonderful girl named Megan. She is just sunshine and rainbows all the time, even when it seems like rain clouds are on their way. So we were having a stressful day and guess what? we had a de-stress party. we got three things of ice cream sat on the couch and watched a movie while eating out of the container. I know that sounds so funny but it was such a blessing. My roommates, megan and i just sat there sharing ice cream and just enjoying the friendships we were developing. Such a tender mercy. Then on top of that i got to visit home for the weekend. I am so blessed that my family lives close enough for me to see them as often as i do. The lord knew i would need this  and allowed through many tiny miracles my family to stay near by. We had a girls weekend! LEt me tell you, to be in an environment like the one i have at home was a HUGE BLESSING.! I was able to sort through some things that have been on my mind, i was able to receive guidance from my mom and just enjoy the company of my lovely sisters. We laughed and played around. We tried so hard to fit in as many things as we possibly could in the short amount of time we had, and it was all worth it.

one thing that i have truly come to appreciate is having a mother who will call me out on things i am not willing to call myself out on. I know this sounds strange, but it has been a huge blessing to have a mom in my life who knows me well enough to make me take a hard honest look at myself and my decisions. That is exactly what i needed this weekend! The Lord has blessed me so much in my life and when things seem to get to a point where i feel overwhelmed he provides me with glimpses of just how terrific my life is and how much more he has in store for me. I am truly blessed to have the terrific life i have. Now that i have a clearer mind and a peaceful heart i am even more excited about the future and what the Lord has planned for me in my life.
