what we should focus on...

On this wonderful blog i follow it made a statement that made me stop to really think about where my priorities lie. it say that we should be less worried with TCB (taking care of business) and more concerned with TCP (taking care of people). This is so true. At the end of each day what does it matter if we got all the homework, paper work or outside work done, if we have ignored those around us and missed the wonderful moments to create relationships. If we put others before ourselves, we will grow tremendously and be the lord's hands. I know for me i have been so caught up in me me me that i have sometimes missed opportunities to lift those around me and in turn lift myself. So at the end of each day, ask yourself what relationships have a strengthened, not how much homework did i get done.

Another thing i have learned is that sometimes we need to take a step into the dark -putting our fears of rejection, being made fun of, or hurt- and put all our faith in knowing that our heavenly father is right there beside us guiding us. Our life can become so much more when we fully put our faith and trust in him and the plan he has for us. Each of us will do marvelous things when we seek to do the will of the father.
