So yesterday i went to my first ever Vietnamese new year!!! IT was sooooo much fun!! My friends and i went to the DI and bought things that looked like something you would wear in Vietnam. It was so much fun. Then we got all ready and may i say we all looked amazing :) we then went to the RB where the party was being held. It was so cool to see all the actual outfits from vietnam. They are sooooo pretty!!! So my friend Thuan was the MC for the night. He did a fantastic job. THey should different videos of people in the club and stuff. The advisor gave each of us a dollar as a gift like they do in Vietnam. Then students sang songs in vietnamese. They had the BYU breakdancers there. Then we got to eat. sooooooooooooo yummy!!!!!!!!! Then they had a jeopardy came. Of course we had no idea what they were talking about because it was all in vietnamese. :) still way fun. Then they had a drawing, a dance party and thaun sang in vietnamese. so awesome! Then a fat man and a dragon had a dance party haha. after the major party was over there was kareoke. Of course my friends and i got up and sang Lean on Me. SO MUCH FUN!!! To celebrate our american side afterwards we went to Malt Shop for burgers, fries and malts. such a great time!
